Databook Stat Guide

Stats are ranked in nine categories (the official databooks use eight; we add Fuinjutsu for OC builds). Each category uses 0.5–5 points in half-point steps; the total is out of 45. The highest total in the official eight-stat books is 35.5/40 (e.g. Jiraiya, Itachi). Use this guide to keep your OC's stats consistent and balanced.

Categories & scale

The nine stat categories are: Ninjutsu, Taijutsu, Genjutsu, Fuinjutsu, Intelligence, Strength, Speed, Stamina, Hand seals. Use the ranges below (approximations) when deciding scores:

First Databook: Beginning of Part I. Second Databook: End of Part I. Third Databook: Beginning of Part II.

Stats to avoid

Keep totals within these caps for your character's rank so stats stay balanced.
