Ninji bot & commands

Ninji is a bot in our Discord server. You don’t install anything — type / in chat and pick a command. This page lists every command with examples you can copy. The bot runs in Discord, not on this website.

Start here — the basics

  • 1. Chat in the server

Talking earns XP automatically. You get credit about once per minute. Your level shows how active you are — it never goes down.

  • 2. Turn levels into ryo

When you level up, type /levels exchange in Discord to get 100 ryo per level. Pass /quiz runs for bonus ryo too.

  • 3. Play extras (optional)

Spend ryo on Konoha Shidō card packs (/market buy-pack), sell and trade cards, or try wiki quizzes and randomizers.

How to type a command

Never used a Discord bot before? Follow these steps — it’s the same for every command on this page.

  1. Open Discord

Use the Ninji server on your phone or computer — the bot only works there, not on this website.

  2. Pick a channel

Go to any text channel where you can see the Ninji bot (most server channels work).

  3. Type a slash ( / )

In the message box, type /. Discord will show a list of bot commands.

  4. Choose a command

Click one from the list (for example /levels rank) or finish typing it, then press Enter.

Tip: Commands always start with /. If nothing shows up when you type it, you might be in a channel where the bot isn’t allowed — try a main server channel.

Card marketplace (/market)

Konoha Shidō cards use ryo — the same currency from leveling and quizzes. Pull packs, list cards at whatever price you want, buy from other members, or trade in Discord. Browse active listings on the marketplace page, or type /market info anytime for the in-bot summary.

  • Get ryo

Exchange chat levels with /levels exchange (100 ryo per level), pass /quiz runs (10–25 ryo), gift cards (+25 giver / +10 receiver) or complete trades (+25 each; 250 ryo/week social cap), or unlock shinobi badges (50 × tier, or 100 if untiered). Check your wallet with /ryo balance.

  • Buy packs

Open a free pack once per day with /packs open, or buy extra packs for 500 ryo with /market buy-pack.

  • List for sale

On this site: Sell a card on /market (or Buy on a listing). In Discord: /market post card:<yours> price:<ryo>. Browse /market list or the website, buy with /market buy listing:<id>. Cancel with /market cancel or Cancel listing on the site.

  • Trade & gift

On this site: use Gift & trade on /market or your profile Collection tab. In Discord: /market trade (card swap, optional ryo, Accept within 15 min) or /cards give for a free one-way gift.

  • Looking for

Post a want on /market or with /cards looking post. If someone owns it, they can tap Give it to them (Discord or site) to gift it instantly. Posts expire after 14 days; max 5 active per person.

  • See who has what

Open a member’s Collection tab on /profile/<id>, check “Who owns this” on a card in /cards/oc, or use /cards view and /cards who in Discord.

Commands cheat sheet

Sellers set their own prices with /market post. Type / in Discord, pick market, then choose a subcommand — or copy an example below.

  • /market buy-pack

Buy a booster for 500 ryo.

  • /market post card:<yours> price:<ryo>

    Purchase a listing.

  • /market cancel listing:<id>

    Remove your listing.

  • /cards give user:@member card:<yours>

Gift a card (no swap required).

  • /cards looking post card:<name>

Post that you want a card; owners can Give it to them.

  • /cards view [user:@member]

    Browse a binder page.

  • /cards who card:<name>

    See who owns a print.

Can I sell a card that is already listed?
No — cancel the listing first with /market cancel, or wait until it sells. The bot blocks new trades and gifts while a copy is listed.
What price can I ask when listing?
Any amount in ryo — you decide with /market post. There are no fixed card prices.
Where do I see my cards?
On this site: Profile → Collection, other members via Users → their Collection tab, or “Who owns this” on a card in the Ninji Shidō gallery. In Discord: /cards view, /cards summary, /cards top, or /cards who.
How do I ask for a card I don’t have?
Post a looking-for want on /market or with /cards looking post. If you own a card someone wants, the market board marks You have this card — then gift with the Gift & trade panel (or /cards give) or trade. Cancel with /cards looking cancel.
What if a trade or purchase fails?
The bot rolls back ryo and cards when something goes wrong mid-sale. Bonus ryo in trades is held when the offer is created and refunded if the trade is declined or expires.

Common questions

Short answers about leveling, ryo, and the card marketplace.

How do I earn XP?
Just talk in the server like normal. Real messages (at least 3 characters, not bot commands) give 15–25 XP. You can only earn XP once per minute, so spamming won’t help.
Can I lose my level?
No. Your level only goes up as you chat more. Spending or exchanging ryo does not lower your level.
How do I get ryo?
Chat to level up, then use /levels exchange (100 ryo per level). Pass /quiz for 10–25 ryo. Unlock shinobi badges for 50 × tier ryo (100 if untiered) — already-earned badges are paid once when you next sync. Kudos only grant a tiny thanks (+1 ryo, max 3/week) so friends cannot farm them. Spend ryo on card packs with /market buy-pack or trade cards on the marketplace.
What are kudos?
Use /kudos give to send limited weekly recognition (3 per week, one per member per day). Receivers unlock profile badges and may get a tiny ryo thanks. Use /kudos leaderboard with period “This month” for appreciation shout-outs.
What are shinobi badges?
Use /badges to see a dossier image of achievements from roster setup, QOTD, quizzes, cards, levels, hosting, and more. Each unlock pays ryo (50 × tier, or 100 if untiered). Progress on locked badges shows on the website Badges page.
How does the card marketplace work?
On the website: browse /market, gift and trade from the Gift & trade panel, post looking-for wants, view binders on creator profiles, and see owners in the card gallery. In Discord: /market for packs/listings/trades, /cards lookup, /cards give, /cards looking, /cards view, and /cards who.
Where do I see my stats on the website?
Sign in with Discord and open Levels for XP and ryo, Badges (/badges) for your shinobi achievement dossier, or Kudos (/kudos) to give recognition.
