Overview
The Chōshigan is a dōjutsu unique to the Suzaku clan, being present in an estimated 90% of clan members and typically developing by the age of ten. When activated it allows the user to perceive the world through the eyes of their partnered bird, granting them unparalleled reconnaissance capabilities and a literal birds-eye-view. It is easy to tell when this dōjutsu is active, because the user's eyes will begin to glow. However, because this technique replaces the user's eyesight with that of their partner, they are unable to see their own surroundings if their bird is off scouting or has its vision obscured. Furthermore, if the partnered bird is killed while this dōjutsu is active the user has a high chance of being struck permanently blind.
