Firm and unyielding
A member of Konohagakure's Kengou clan and second son of the current clan head. He's in Naruto Uzumaki's graduation class and a member of Ran Kazami's Team 9.
As a Kengou, Tetsuya is incredibly tall. As a teen going through puberty, the constant growth spurts make him a bit awkward and unsteady on his feet, often misjudging his own size. He has mild mannerisms and a gentle disposition.

He's calm, kind and friendly, but with a quite sarcastic side that comes out mostly when he's around Kuroo. He tends to let insults or other issues aimed at him slide because he struggles to say what's on his mind (but he gets better over time.) He's a mediator by nature (or, rather, because of his older siblings' constant fights) and can be quite nosy. He wholeheartedly supports his friends and is a very encouraging person, even when they make... questionable choices.
