Uchiha is an alternate pronunciation of uchiha, referring to a type of non-folding fan.

Nagito was said to be handsome in a mysterious and brooding way. He wore the standard Konoha flak jacket with black trousers, sandals, and gloves, and white bandages wrapped around his forearms.

Nagito is described as having been a stern but fair teacher, a man who saw potential in all his students and pushed them hard to bring it out. He was incredibly intelligent, a skilled strategist who could make any genin team work if given the opportunity.
His biggest flaw was his emotions; Nagito felt things strongly, for better or worse. Like many Uchiha at the time, Nagito grew increasingly resentful of Konoha and its leadership. He had noticed the way his clan was isolated and regarded with suspicion even after everything the Uchiha had done for the village.
