Ninjibot
Murasaki and Sakumo met one day at the Konoha market. She'd just moved from a village in the Fire and Sakumo noticed her struggling to figure out where everything was since the set up was slightly different, so he offered to give her a hand. When she admitted she needed help finding the other stores, including the craft store, Sakumo took her to the rest of them and they chatted it up. Before she knew it, they were dating one another.
Two years later, just as the events of Hidden Beast are taking place, she moves in with the Hatake family and she marries Sakumo during the short time skip.
At the start of Root Problems, Murasaki finds herself alone in the house without Sakumo or Kakashi, as they were called away to defend the village, and Tsukiya was out on a mission for Danzō. Before Sakumo left, he placed a kunai in Murasaki's hand, knowing at the very least she knows how to throw a knife around or stab someone. It may not be a whole lot of defense, but it was better than leaving her without any form of self-defense.
One of her favorite things is crocheting with Sakumo because it's their favorite past time together, even though Sakumo is terrible at it.
