Kazami Clan

A formerly nomadic clan, originally from the Land of Wind, that has traveled most of the Shinobi Continent. They settled in the Land of Fire prior to the foundation of Konoha and formed an alliance with the Aburame Clan. Only two members remain to this day, as their numbers—low to begin with—dwindled rapidly during the Warring States Period.
They are primarily known for perfecting the making of chakra blades and for developing the Flying Swallow jutsu.

Overview

The Kazami Clan has obscure origins, but its nomadic nature has been known almost since its inception. The reason is simple: the Karami. The Kekkei Genkai of the Kazami Clan pushed its members to explore many different regions in order to be able to control it and, to an extent, make their own lives easier.
They spent time in Uzushiogakure, before it was known by that name, in the lands of the Uzumaki Clan. They developed the Seal of Earthly Attachment with their help, to keep the Karami from activating without their will.
They spent some time in the Land of Iron, where they learned from the swordsmiths and samurai, and eventually contributed to perfecting the chakra blade—in order to aid their own chakra control, paramount to mastering the Karami.
They were nomads and merchants, dealing with goods, knowledge, and their own skills, which made them notorious for one simple reason: they were peerless as assassins.
Finally, they found the Aburame Clan in the Land of Fire, and struck an unlikely alliance. Partially because the Kazami understood the potential of the Aburame insect techniques, and partially because the Aburame knew they posed the gravest danger to their lifestyle. This alliance gave birth to a modified silkworm, capable of producing silk that fused with the wearer's chakra, which put an end to the Kazami Clan's biggest complaint: that they ended up naked when the Karami was activated.
