Overview
Is the Kekkei Genkai of the Kazami clan. It transforms the user’s body into thin air, allowing them to literally fuse with the wind. Strengths & Weaknesses In this state, they are virtually invulnerable, and—as long as they ride already existing air currents—undetectable to Sensor-nin. However, any “antinatural” movement they do requires the use of chakra and thus makes them traceable. This can work in their advantage, though, as it’s easy for them to overwhelm Sensor-nins by surrounding them. It's very difficult to master. The more the user ‘expands,’ the harder it is to maintain control of their fusion. If they don’t re-form, they will be unable to return to their physical forms and will eventually fuse completely with the air around them, effectively killing them. Limitations The range of the Kekkei Genkai is determined by the user's amount of chakra, and the techniques they're able to perform in their incorporeal state is determined by their chakra control. Activation All members of the Kazami clan awaken their Kekkei Genkai when their chakra pathways are fully developed, and it’s completely involuntary. Because of this, the clan has developed a seal that is placed on the base of the user’s neck, to forcibly keep them whole until they can activate it at will.
Trivia
- This Kekkei Genkai was the main reason why the Kazami clan was nomadic for so long, as they searched the world looking for a way to control this transformation.
