Kyuu Clan

One of the oldest native clans in Kesshogakura. This clan is known for its strange resemblance to 'vampires' and are often mistaken as them. However, in general the Kyuu clan is very peaceful despite them looking like they're straight out of a gothic horror novel.

The Kyuu clan is known for being able to absorb chakra from others. They don't produce much chakra on their own, relying on others to satisfy their needs. When feeding off others, the Kyuu Clan member will gain the chakra nature and techniques of those they've fed from. They store extra chakra in the jewlery they wear. They can also disburse chakra to others.

The Kyuu clan completely originates from Kesshogakura. The founders of this clan were ordinary citizens looking to escape the rough politics of their original villages. Many of the founding members of this clan were to be enlisted into their ninja academy, however they were weak. The Kyuu clan was essentially started by people who had very poor chakra reserves and would not last very long in the shinobi world. Somehow this weakness would eventually become an advantage when the Krystals of Kessho started to mutate them. Early Kyuu clan members began to seek others to feed their chakra needs. They developed long fangs so they could bite other citizens in order to eat their chakra. The crystals that surrounded their homes also became a great resource for them. The Kyuu clan found that the properties of the crystals allowed them to store extra chakra inside. Thus, the Kyuu clan became jewelers of all things. They created jewelry that can hold extra chakra reserves and became quite wealthy as a result.
