Hibana (火花) is comprised of the characters "fire" and "flower". Kishi (岸) means shore.
Hibana has black hair, worn in a ponytail adorned with a nautical looking red and white bow with bangs that come down and cover one of her eyes. The other eye, unobscured, showcases Hibana's sharigan, which is always activated. She has heart decorative stickers on her cheeks. She wears a red tank top paired with a navy blue skirt with the Uchiha clan symbol on the back, and with a white belt with a heart-shaped gold loop to the side. Underneath her skirt, she wears white leggings, and navy blue boots with a heart design at the top and red accents. A red-banded hitai-ate adorns her left arm.
In her "Kishi" disguise, Hibana has since gained the ability to suppress her Sharingan, switching out her red-heavy wardrobe for one more fitting of Kirigakure. She has cut her bangs shorter, no longer hanging in her face and showing both eyes. She wears a pair of round glasses and has replaced her hair ribbon with one that is white and blue. She wears a short cut frilly blue dress, and a stocking on her right leg, with black straps running up her left leg and blue-laced geta with a black base.
When Hibana uses her Mangekyo Sharingan, it vaguely looks like a red spider lily.
Lean, lacking significant muscle mass.

As a child she struggled with narcolepsy possibly in conjunction with her constantly activated sharingan although as she got older the severity of it lessened. Hibana is one of those people who takes onto her friend's traits/habits/hobbies/ect. fairly quick such as her expedient learning of sign language after befriending Kaiko.

Hibana’s childhood wasn’t the worst but not fully idyllic either. She had a workaholic father and a disciplinarian mother, and found herself growing distant from them even at a young age. However, her aunt Romio was a rock for Hibana, and she grew quite close with her. Hibana was said to strongly physically resemble her great-grandmother Sachiko.
When she entered the Academy at age 5, she was placed in the same class with Sayato Yasuda and began to get a crush on the boy, although she felt too shy to directly talk to him, she would leave him various secret admirer notes. Shortly after entering the Academy, her sharingan awoke and unlike others in their clan who had awoken theirs, she was unable to deactivate her sharingan. As a result, she began to be seen as intimidating by others, kids and adults alike. Any sort of kid-typical emotional outburst of her was suddenly seen as a sign of emotional erraticness and instability. She found herself eventually befriending Kaiko Aburame, a classmate of hers who was selectively mute due to her autism.
After the Nine Tailed Fox’s attack on Konoha, anti-Uchiha sentiment was at an all-time high, and Sayato went from being a happy-go-lucky guy to one who was severely depressed due to the loss of his parents. His so-called best friend, Shiori Aragaki (a classmate who was not Hibana’s biggest fan), was beginning to act worse and worse toward him despite this and Hibana knew she had to do something. Getting back to her secret admirer route, she began to write notes that ultimately pushed Sayato into breaking off his friendship with Shiori, pointing out how he deserved better.
When Hibana graduated from the Academy, she was placed on a team led by her aunt’s boyfriend Juri Hyuga, with her teammates being her best friend Kaiko Aburame and Shikamori Nara, a distant bookworm. She had hoped Sayato would be on her team as well, and that she’d have her aunt Romio as her jonin sensei, but alas this did not occur.
Over the course of the next few months, she and the rest of her team completed plenty of missions and qualified to enter in the Chunin Exams- but tragedy struck shortly before the teams were meant to head out.
Sayato, Shiori, and Akio were ambushed in the forest by sabotaging Kiri-nin, a fact Hibana learned after a bloody, distraught Sayato rushed up to her and Romio as they were grabbing ramen at Ichiraku together. The two quickly rushed with Sayato back to the forest to retrieve Shiori and Akio’s corpses.
Hibana found Shiori, and upon examination of the blonde’s body, found she was still alive despite the giant gash on her back. Shiori called out weakly for Hibana, but instead of helping, Hibana grabbed the kanzashi hair pin from Shiori’s hair and stabbed her in the heart with it and said “I won.” She then picked up Shiori’s corpse to eventually bring it back to the village for a proper burial. She gained her Mangekyo Sharingan from this incident, noticing the next morning she was able to deactivate her Sharingan for the first time ever. Despite this, she still kept it on to maintain appearances, knowing it would be rather odd to not have her Sharingan on all of a sudden.
Despite the incident, the Chunin Exams still went on, with Hibana being one of the few students to graduate to Chunin rank alongside Sayato, Haine, and a few others from other villages.
The next few years post-exams were fairly tame at first, typical shinobi mission slop. Then she met Takaya Shimura- Okami, as he tended to go by “officially”. Takaya was the grand-nephew of Danzo Shimura and a member of ROOT (not that he could tell her much about it without his seal stopping from doing so), but found himself drawn more and more to Hibana. Hibana was slightly uncomfortable with this, but pitied him as she knew she was his only friend and thus still found herself hanging out with him.
When Takaya was told by Danzo about the upcoming Uchiha Clan massacre, he urged her to leave the village for her safety, but was stopped short of being able to give her the full truth as to why. A few weeks before the massacre, she had a last meeting with Sayato, wherein he confesses the truth of what really happened to Shiori and Akio, how Kiri-nin were behind pressuring him into killing them (although he didn’t quite finish the job with Shiori, not that he was aware of that one :P).
In turn, Hibana reveals to him that she had gained her Mangekyo Sharingan and that she’s been pushing herself to have her sharingan all the time since awakening it. The two eventually begin to have a moment, but Hibana eventually tells Sayato she has to leave, (gently!) knocking him out so he doesn’t try to chase after her.
Hibana goes back to Takaya, who is willing to help her lay low elsewhere, and helps her in infiltrating Kirigakure with his expertise in infiltration due to being in ROOT. He helps her establish the fake identity of “Kishi”, with Hibana worming her way into getting close to the Kiri-nin who started all the misery for Sayato anyway and after biding her time for a few years, kills the duo when they are not expecting it. With this done with, she decides that she wants to return to Konoha, that she needs to get back to Sayato… but ends up encountering someone who she should not have.
Before she could leave the Land of Water, she was confronted by a duo, a young boy around her age and… the disgraced sannin Orochimaru…? Orochimaru told the young boy- who was named Harin - to attack her, to obtain the sharingan he’d coveted so. The fight was brutal, she was clearly outclassed and killed despite Harin’s hesitancy to attack. Orochimaru and Harin then harvested her eyes, placing one in Harin’s left eye socket, Orochimaru pocketed the right eye for himself and then unceremoniously dumped Hibana’s corpse into the sea.
