Amina Higashi

Amina is always pinning for Sakura and is extremely jealous of Sasuke because she doesn't understand what Sakura sees in him. Sakura had thought she was in love with Sasuke for a while and stopped being her friend until they became teammates; she never realized her feelings until she noticed that Amina was starting to move on. She started hating Mizushima and didn't know why. Amina, though she did love Mizushima, had never really fallen out of love with Sakura. They get together a little after The Last takes place

Shikamaru has always been Amina's number one friend. They have been through the wringer together. When one of them has a problem, they usually go to each other before anyone else. This is also a family friend thing, as their fathers are also very close friends.

Naruto and Amina have been friends for a long time, not as much as Shikamaru and her, of course. Amina was one of the few kids who never shunned or hated Naruto, always the first to ask him if he wanted to join the group activities and stuff.

Kakashi was Amina's first sensei; he taught her how to be more confident in herself and her abilities. He also helped her with her fire jutsu, as when she first became a Genin, her fire ninjutsu was horrible. She had to use specific ninja tools that Shikaku had made for her to be able to use fire ninjutsu.

Guy helped Amina with her taijutsu, she was not good at hand-to-hand. Over time, though, she did get some monstrous strength in her legs, kind of like Sakura but nowhere near as strong.

Asuma helped her the most. He helped her learn how to use weapons and fuse them with chakra; he's also the one who bought her a huge battle axe. He was someone who she looked up to a lot, someone who she would, sometimes, wish was her actual sensei. In Shippuden, when Asuma died, she ended up blaming herself because if she hadn't froze in the middle of the battle, then he wouldn't have had to save her, and then he wouldn't have gotten hit by Hidan, who wouldn't have been able to kill him.
