Haruki was born to the Higashi clan, he was born with an incredible powerful version of the Eizogan (Fan Kekkei genkai). He does play a big big role, but he does have his moments. Which if I continue this would turn into an essay.
He's of average height, has a very soft, round face, and is a bit on the chubby side, but before coming to the Leaf, he was leaner.

Haruki is an introvert. He doesn't like meeting people; afraid they might leave him later in life. He has a hard time picking up on social cues and gets into a lot of petty arguments because of it. Haruki will sometimes have a plan
but when it doesn't go exactly how he imagined it or how he wanted it to go
he gets pretty stressed and closed off.
When he was 6 he lost control of his powers which caused the majority of his clan to die, and his mother tried to kill him after learning what he had done. He survived and ended up at a small village that took him in.
He met his wife at the age of 15, after learning she too was left all alone he slowly started falling in love. They ended up getting married at 19 years old
Haruki was caught using his Kekkei genkai, the village he had been living at, for 14 years, feared his ability and tried to kill him and his daughter.
