Yosuga Shimura

He is a very complicated and conflicting character. He is undeniably a malicious person with control issues and a streak of needing revenge for the smallest slights against him. To most people he's a very charming and suave individual who always has a smile on his lips, but the more perceptive will see an aura of darkness around his actions. As an orphan, he's experienced being seen as less than dirt with no future, and had been kicked down while he could not fight back, and this has warped his view of the world into hating humans to his core. He wants to prove everyone wrong and become someone that no one can touch, and when Danzo took attention of him- they both used each other to get what they wanted. Being a genin student of Danzo essentially means he was raised by him, and that comes with all the pain and suffering that would be like. He has alot of denial about the harm Danzo had inflicted upon him, and is strangely self aware and yet not, that he is doing the same thing to Inuhiko. He has a strange code of honor when it comes to civilians, and teaches his students that harm cannot come to them no matter what, because they are "innocent". It is not known if this is his actual opinion, or just a way he can manipulate others opinions of him and control Inuhiko's actions more tightly. In a way... it is also him acknowledging that gaining the village's ire is death sentence, and maintaining a power dynamic of a shepherd herding "sheep" can keep the mob from deciding you are not one of them. Surprisingly a good teacher, and once a student is under his wing he goes out of his way to "protect" them. His good intentions can seem evil to others, but to him, they are genuinely trying to teach the students how to survive in a world that hates them. He breaks his students before the world breaks them. He tries to warp them into becoming worse versions of themselves and teach them how to scheme against others to get what they want. When it comes to love and family, he's surprisingly a devoted husband. After his wife's death, he has sworn off the advances of woman in her memory. He does occasionally seek pleasure with men on just pure physical attraction, but the idea of a relationship doesn't appeal to him anymore. He's very attractive, and knows how to use it to get what he wants. Seems to avoid his son Takanashi constantly, and ignores him to focus on tormenting his other "son" Inuhiko.
