Shimura Sensei
The worst thing to happen to Inuhiko lmao
![]()
Inu (dog) + Hiko (prince)
A bastard of the cursed Hainu clan, who's plagued by a supernatural misfortune. Fanged teeth and earnest devotion, he's trying his best to do what's right for his family- and if that means defecting from Kiri to join Konoha, then so be it. A Traitor with bought loyalty has no status, but he still gives his all for teammates who hate his guts.
Dark hair with a blue shine, folding around his cheeks and flipping outwards around his ears. His eyes are dull and lifeless with a grey blue hue. He has fanged teeth. He has pale skin, but tans easily in the sun during summer. A large amount of scars. You can see many small nicks over his hands and leading up his arms. He has three most distinct scars: A scar starting at just above his jugular and rising to sink into his left cheek. A sharp chunk taken out of his ear.

His personality on the outside is diligent, polite, always with a solemn, respectful expression- or a courteous smile when engaging with his superiors. He never expresses his wants or needs, and always tried to fulfill others before himself. Even as a child, he's never considered himself as one. As an eldest son, who from an early age has been in the position of providing for his family, he's learned how to be independent and reliable.
He’s a workaholic, and doesn’t know what to do with himself if he’s not being useful somehow. He forces himself to do work even if he’s tired or injured. By now, its just habit to complete chores even when he feels like dying, because growing up he’s had to come home after tough missions and not only take care of his sick mother, but his younger brother while he’s drained of energy.
He’s got a lot of loyalty. Dog like. But that loyalty is for his family first. At his core, he’s a gentle soul who cares deeply for his family. He’s got motherly tendencies.
He feels guilty for enjoying nice things and indulging his childish side. He doesn't have many hobbies. “My hobbies?.....Does cleaning count? Hm…Training? Working?...those don’t count either?....Okay….” and “….I sew clothes…like holes in them and loose buttons…No?.....”
Somewhat low self esteem. He's rather slow when it comes to romance, and isn't used to positive feelings being expressed towards him. He gets flustered easily by positive interaction, and is more at ease with neutral/dislike interactions towards himself. On the flip side of low self esteem- His ability to feel shame is a little broken. When he’s in the mindset of “Its for my family” Bro just doesn’t have the ability to feel shame what so ever.
HATES WASTING FOOD.
Has extreme levels of bad luck. Kinda funny. But in reality he's got a uber bad luck curse given to him by a corrupted goddess.

Not the greatest, and a portion gets put aside so he can summon Clone 1 at all times. His sword has its own chakra reserve, so what he can do isn't always decided on his own reserves
An unnoticed thing he is really good at. He's practiced for years how to use chakra constantly and on a budget, so he's used to finding the most efficient path with the least amount of chakra used.
He enhances both his speed and his strength with chakra, so he's pretty strong. This doubles when he goes feral, but at the cost of control loss and dexterity.
Like with strength, enhances with chakra. With his sword his speed doubles due to the wind alignment it has.
Not the best at technique, and makes up for it with brute strength. Has to keep himself from biting people in close combat spars, so there is a slight delay to his actions.
Nonexistent. Managing a household meant less time to study, and he was refused the chance to advance his studies. Has a hard time reading, and might cry if you force him to read textbooks.
Surprisingly good at it?
Strike fast, strike hard. Once fangs bite in, they can't let go. Good soldiers follow orders. He relies on his sword as both his greatest strength and also his anchor. Focusing on the sword movements brings a civility to his mind when all his canine instincts wants to do is hunt.
Can boss his clones around and that's it. He's a dog and likes to follow orders
(Summarizes because the level of awfulness changes depending on if I want him to suffer or not.)
Inuhiko was borne to a unlucky woman in a small backwater town in the Land of Water. It was a costal harbor town, and had a background of misty mountains that held abandoned shrines on the tops. After Inu's birth, its unknown whether it was due to birth complications or her profession, but his mother grew very ill. His grandfather took her and Inu into his care for Inu's early years, and he learned much from the man. How to be hardworking, earnest, and independent.
Inu's lineage could not be kept a secret however, everyone knew he was a bastard of the Hainu clan. The Hainu clan was feared by many in the Land of Water. Everyone knows they had been cursed by yokai, and their lineage brings misfortune. Having your lineage cursed isn't the same as having a kekkei genkai, but to fearmongers, it didn't matter in the Bloody Mist. Eventually, Inu and his mother were targeted, and for his ill mother's survival, Inu defected to Konoha as a traitor during the third war.
How did he do this? With the help of an ANBU spy, Jackal. Jackal had three goals:
-Obtain a rumored sword made by a legendary swordsmith
-Kidnap- I mean, convince a member of the Hainu line to come to Konoha on the Inuzuka clan's request.
-Cause mayhem as a goodbye gift.
Once at Konoha, Jackal left ANBU duties to return to his genin team (who had been taking a break after losing a member to war). Inu joins the team to replace the dead member, and to also be under surveillance since he's a traitor.
In Kiri, Inu did not have the blessing to be in a genin team and had just been sent to the genin corps. In Konoha... His teammates are older than him, and they didn't like him in the first place because he was a traitor- even less than he was replacing their dead teammate.
-What was even worse is that his Sensei spread malicious misinformation about Inu to them.
After he arrives in Konoha, Inu and his ill mother now live with his new Sensei- and the man's son.
Inu is girlboss'd gaslighted by his new sensei to not only take over all the chores of the house but to also babysit the man's son. He does extra missions on the side (and not on the books missions given to him by his new sensei) to pay rent (and his mother's medical bills).
Ends up killing his sensei, almost going to jail, gets released based on an insanity plea (????), and is forced to join ANBU as a provisional member.
Usually ends up dying at 14.
So here! While Inu's unfortunate canon stories usually ends short, most of the time when interacting with other players I would be using an adult Inuhiko.
Many paths but usually the good ones are like:
Got out of ANBU and became either a doctor / stay at home dad / writer / ....superhero?
Reconciled with Kaede after her redemption arc and they are good friends now
And the bad one's are like:
Becomes the Beast of Misfortune's proxy on earth.
Missing nin turned bounty hunter or serial killer
werewolf
Non-spicy OKSpicy OKThe creator welcomes fanart of this OC (including spicy art) without needing to ask first.
All I ask is that you show me lol. Oh, and when showing other people mention the character is owned by me I guess.
