Kousuke Hamata

During the peak of the Second Shinōbi War, Kousuke’s life turns into a nightmare when Uzushiō is invaded — forcing him to abandon his home, unsure if he’ll ever be able to return. Meanwhile, Masato, thrust into a world of deceit and immeasurable power that leads him away from the calm shores of Ishikawa-ken, is faced with a decision he fears he'll never forgive himself for.

What is the story about?

It follows Hamata Kōnosuke, a shinobi from Uzushiō (also known as Uzugakure), the Village of the Whirlpools, where the culture is a fusion of Okinawan and Māori influences. The initial conflict, known as the Fall, occurs during the latter part of the Second Shinobi War, when the allied forces of Kirigakure and other villages invade Uzushiō.
