Takame

The Takame is a symbiotic summon-dōjutsu technique inherited and practiced by members of the Takanaga group. At birth, infants are inducted into the family by signing the Takanaga Hawk Summons contract with a handprint. When a member has grown old enough and has bonded closely with a specific hawk summons, they can sacrifice the sight in one eye in exchange for being able to see through the eyes of their summons. Subsequently, they can activate the Takame at will. This is a permanent change that cannot be undone, and the vision is not returned to that eye if the bonded hawk is killed.
