Archive Seal Barrier is one of the most practical sealing arts associated with the Chigiri clan and is commonly used to protect libraries, record halls, private studies, and ritual chambers. The technique reflects the clan’s long-standing role as keepers of dangerous information, especially material that cannot be allowed to circulate freely. Older versions of the barrier are said to leave a magatama-shaped chakra stain on intruders, allowing clan members to identify who entered a protected space after the fact.
