Childhood
The Kimizu clan was once noble and very sought after during times of war. However, due to the nature of their kekkei genkai, over the years they shrunk into irrelevance. Out of desire to restore their glory, the elders would encourage dangerous behaviour to attempt to force the dōjutsu to awaken. Iori is one of the first in year to awaken hers. She was highly prized for this, but also placed under immense pressure to become a formidable ninja worthy of representing her clan.
Adolescence
Following years of strict private training, she eventually completed her initial genin exams in Konohagakure. Her performance was flagged to the ANBU, who recognised her talent and rare dōjutsu. Due to this, she was scouted and offered a promotion to chūnin, if she joined. Her clan was happy to accept, grateful that she was being recognised, despite her young age. Iori accepted the recruitment, knowing it would grant her some independence from her clan.
Adulthood
Iori currently lives in Konoha and operates as an ANBU agent. She enjoys the unpredictable schedule, as well as the opportunities to travel. She's reserved and described by some to be timid, but generally liked by her peers. Few know she is in the ANBU, and would never guess, due to her gentle nature.
