While working, Shion keeps her long sandy blonde hair tied up in a ponytail with her shinobi headband right on her forehead. Her uniform is the typical jonin flack jacket and navy shirt with the sleves rolled up, however she wears faded jean shorts. Her casual style is rather simple, t shirts, pants, and her favorite plum purple jacket.

Shion has two sides of her personality. At work you get the straight man "Straight man" of the group, keeping a level head under pressure. She is reserved and logical, usually saving the silliness for her family.
When she is with people she forms a bond with, she is more relaxed and laid back. willing to play and laugh when it calls for it.

Shion and Inoichi have a loving but complicated sibling bond as they have an 11 year age gap between them. Shion pictures having a father in her life would be similar to how things already are with Inoichi around. What puts their their relationship under a bit of strain is her being compared to her more impressive brother her whole life.
Ino is Shion's adorable little niece. Over the years she has taught her about poisons, herbal cures, and flower genjutsu.
These two flower genjutsu masters have known each other since the beginning. During their Genin years, Kurenai would run off to spend time with Shion and the rest of her team 8. It was after the deaths of both their first loves and the birth of Mirai that brought them closer as they raised this little daughter together.
