Kuraishi Sobu is a young ninja originally from Yugakure. She was kidnapped at a young age and indoctrinated to a cult of Jashin, a belief she holds despite being rescued and brought to Konohagakure, where she currently resides.
Kuraishi has long, silver hair that goes down to about her lower back and sort of purplish eyes. She has a bit of hair that hangs down in front of her face alongside pieces that hang on either side of her face.
She's got quite a bit of muscle on her from swinging her scythe around and traveling mostly by foot.

Kuraishi has long, silver hair that goes down to about her lower back and sort of purplish eyes. She has a bit of hair that hangs down in front of her face alongside pieces that hang on either side of her face. She wears a dark red crop top and grey, low waisted pants. Both of her ears are pierced and she wears gold bangles on both wrists. A necklace with the Jashinism symbol hangs around her neck.
Not much has changed with her general appearance, although her hair is a bit shorter with some gold accessories tied in. She wears another purplish-reddish crop top, occasionally with mesh chainmail underneath, and low-waisted, baggy pants. She continues to wear her necklace and bangles, and has more ear piercings. She also now has a Konoha headband tied around her waist.

She's a chronic murderer, unfortunately.
Chaotic Neutral
She's not as reckless as she would normally be since she poses a risk to her teammates, so she tends to linger outside of her team or outside of the formation they may have created. She utilizes her long-distance weapons in a team.
She's reckless when she fights alone since she knows there's no risk of accidentally damaging a teammate. However, her moves are still calculated even if it doesn't come off as such.
She doesn't care where she's placed.
She can be utilized in most positions, but her weapon is fit for mid to long range attacks.
Her cursed technique is her specialty and the technique she goes for the most. Using weapons is her strong point and finds herself being more of a mid-to-long range fighter most of the time. She can sock someone in the face but it’s not often she’s face to face with her opponents.
She, uh, can't really die.
Cursed Technique: Death Controlling Possessed Blood
Kuraishi consumes an opponent’s blood and links their life forces together. As long as she remains in the ritual circle, any damage she takes or does to herself will also apply to said opponent.
Wind Style: Tempest Claw Jutsu
Sharp, claw-like wind shoots from whatever weapon Kuraishi is yielding, slicing her opponent.

Kuraishi was born and raised in Yugakure, although she doesn’t have a lot of memories from her time in the village. Her parents, Shinji and Yuka Sobu, were nothing special, just simple shinobi that didn’t really stand out from the others. It’s not like there was much conflict in Yugakure anymore anyway. She went through the academy and was placed on a Genin team, but she has no recollection of who they were or what they did.
She was young when she was kidnapped; 12, maybe. She isn’t sure anymore. All she remembers is a man, whose name she can’t remember, introducing her and a group of other young girls to a god named Jashin. She didn’t realize she had been kidnapped and roped into a cult, it was all she knew in her early years.
The girls were required to give sacrifices to Lord Jashin, sometimes even sacrificing each other if need be. Kuraishi was a little too enthusiastic about the whole thing and seemed to get way too involved, completely unaware of the other girls’ struggles and fear. She took her sacrificing “job” incredibly seriously and cared little about what she had to do to achieve her goals.
Unashamed of her new faith and the violence that came with it, Kuraishi quickly became highly valued within the cult and was often used as a model member.
All she knew was Lord Jashin.
She didn’t understand when a group of Konoha shinobi invaded the cult, shouting at the girls to flee while they went after their leader.
Saved? She didn’t need to be saved, this was her life!
She tried to fight back but was quickly reprimanded by a girl around her age with black hair and eyes redder than she’d ever seen. She expected to be killed by the girl; she was shocked when she wasn’t. Instead, she was brought back to Konoha, although it felt as if she was a prisoner of sorts. She was put in the Konoha Hospital for a while and was kept under watch by Jonin as she was examined and tested. She didn’t know why nor did she question it, a part of her was too scared to. She was eventually released from the hospital, although still under close supervision, and was allowed to become a Genin once again.
Kuraishi met the girl’s—Mirai’s—friends; an Uchiha and two Yamanaka’s, twins, a girl and a boy. She had to run their names through her head about a million times before she was able to remember them and, even then, it was rough. Chizuru, Azami, and Kaede, the former quite brazen, especially together. She got along well with all of them and adapted pretty quickly to her new home…albeit with some roadblocks, particularly with her “religion.” She knew the village leaders didn’t fully trust her and neither did the villagers, but she found herself not caring. They had deemed her useful enough to allow her to rank up to be a Chunin, the rank she currently sits at.
Something about Mirai makes her heart beat a little bit faster than normal.

She’s heavily associated with death and immortality due to her Jashinist beliefs. Intentionally or not on my part, she takes inspiration from Hidan; she knew his name growing up and had him in mind as a personal goal.
