Tenma is Itachi's biological son withan unknown second parent. He was raised by the Akatsuki, they were his family, they made him powerful, they made im keep going. After being sealed away to survive a the Fourth War that claimed everyone he loved, he was awakened in the era of Boruto, taken in by Kara, and now motivated with the objective of killing Sasuke or everyone Sasuke loves, that includes probably destroying Konoha.

Tenma looks largely like his dad, same charm, jet black hair usually kept in a small ponytail, bangs framing his face, light skin, dark eyes, quite a bit smaller than others his age due to his premature birth and growing up in the Akatsuki where it wasn't easy to get decent nutrients for a baby. He is agile, light, hard to hit, and fast, using his smaller height to his advantage to slip away and evade. But Tenma is naturally slim and gets tired faster from physical exercise than others due to the same reasons but he does fill out slightly overtime. While growing up in the Akatsuki he wore fairly traditional clothes, simple high collar dark blue shirts, black pants, usually a raincoat and boots, but his style changed drastically after being unsealed and joining Kara. Tenma cut his hair shorter while keeping the right side of his bangs long and it covers most of the right side of his face, his hair has a subtle dyed dark blue undertone and is quite unruly. Tenma does also have subtle eyeliner around his eyes and his nails are painted teal.
Outfit wise, underneath everything he wears a plain black longsleeve turtleneck shirt, over that he wears a sleeveless white button up collared shirt, the bottom half consists of black shorts with a slight flare, connecting the two parts is a black waist cincher style corset. Over that he wears a harness sort of thing made from a faded black denim like material; the top portion is a standard, oversized drawstring hood (which he usually keeps on in a way that leaves his bangs uncovered) connected to the rest of the piece via vertical heavy-duty straps run down the front and back in a curved, ergonomic hip panel. This section wraps around the sides of the torso, leaving the chest and back open, in each hip sits a main mid size utility pouch with multiple smaller compartments inside (where his scrolls and smaller items like kunai are kept), outside of the main compartment. Then there are the flared black leg warmers/ boot covers pooling at his ankles and reaching up just above his knees, they're held up with red buckled thigh straps that clip onto the hem of the cincher and strap around his thighs, with the end clipped to the upper 'cuff'of the warmers. For shoes Tenma wears hiking boots with slightly higher wedge platforms. Over everything he wears a midriff Akatsuki styled jacket; he used remains of Itachi's cloak (post Sasuke battle so it was not in the best condition) to line the outside, keeping the high collar and long sleeves, while the inside is the same red but he made it thicker, water proof, and warmer. It is quite oversized so the sleeves extend down to his knees beyond his hands (so he adjusted the sleeves into more front open sleeves design to not sacrifice mobility) and he usually wears it off shoulder, so part of his right shoulder is exposed. And also by 13 he started looking a lot like Itachi, down to the tear-troughs.

He was a small child, with jet-black hair in a tiny ponytail and framing bangs. He wore a simple dark blue high-collar shirt, black trousers, a miniature raincoat, and sturdy waterproof boots. His frame is notably small.
He retained the high-collar style but shifts toward functional shinobi gear. By the time he awakens his Mangekyo, his hair is more unruly and his features sharpen. He mostly kept the same style as before.
His most radical shift. Now a Kara member, his hair is shorter with a long right fringe covering half his face to mimic Deidara, featuring a dark blue dyed undertone. He wears subtle eyeliner, teal nail polish, and a "Techwear" ensemble: a black turtleneck, white sleeveless button-up, flared black shorts with a waist corset, and a denim utility harness with an oversized hood. He finishes the look with black leg warmers with red buckles/straps, wedge hiking boots, and a midriff-cut jacket repurposed from the remains of Itachi’s cloak, with a Roman numeral "X" tattoo on his right cheek.
This guy fears nothing having seen the deepest shit of the world, growing up in the Akatsuki, and being the son of Itachi. While not arrogant, he speaks his mind if something's not fair in his eyes, ironically solidifying Itachi's choice to name him Tenma since the original Temna had a similar personality. This could be due to the settings he grew up in, being Itachi's only light while watching his own father slowly die, surrounded by people like Pain, manipulators like Zetsu or Tobi, or aggressive ones like Hidan or Deidara. But his idol, besides his father, has always been Kisame; I mean cmon, Kisame is so big and strong and cool and papa trusts him even if Tenma could never be physically as strong as him! He also grew pretty close with Konan since she used to help Itachi with tracking care of him, becoming the closest thing Tenma has to a mother figure. Otherwise he's strategic, somehow patient and determined enough to learn stuff like puppetry and origami, loves his dad, really fucking smart when he decides to turhis brain on, and doesnt want to make the previous mistakes of his clan. While Tenma used to admire Sasuke deeply from Itachi's stories, he came to despise Sasuke after he killed Deidara and Itachi, and then dared show his face at the hideout. His main flaw is jumping immediately to violence in a fight and having near zero impulse control, Tenma's also very unforgiving, rarely giving anyone second chances if they betrayed him or his family, andlastly sometimeshe forgets that humans are human and catches himself treating them like puppets.

He relies on speed, agility, and kenjutsu, but he's definately far behind in physical strength. Often using shunshin and his small size to his advantage.

When fighting solo, Tenma is lethal. He relies heavily on his small frame and master-tier evasion to make himself impossible to hit. He fights like a predator, using a mix of Shikigami no Mai to swarm the field and Shunshin to stay in constant motion. Because of his limited stamina, his solo strategy is to end the fight within the first few minutes—he’ll use his Mangekyo abilities (Samsara or Kunitokotachi) to guarantee a finishing blow before his body begins to tire.
Tenma prefers to stay just on the edge of the fray where he can maintain a total visual on the battlefield. He only enters the front line for high-speed "hit and run" Kenjutsu strikes with his Ame-no-Ohabari sword, retreating back to a position of safety immediately after.

Tenma specializes in "slippery" combat: he uses Explosion Release to turn the entire battlefield into a minefield of paper butterflies and sculptures, forcing enemies into defence. Once they are distracted or trapped, he utilizes his small frame and peerless agility to deliver a single finishing blow.
Kunitokotachi: A line-of-sight passive ability that can instantly freeze an object or opponent in absolute stasis. He often uses this to "lock" an enemy in place right as an explosion is about to detonate.
Samsara: A localized time reversal that rolls back the immediate 5-meter radius by 5 seconds. This serves as his "perfect reset," allowing him to undo a hit he took or retry a failed assassination attempt.
Shinjutsu: Jikuu-Shin: A terrifyingly advanced evolution of the Flying Raijin. By marking an object (usually a kunai held by Daemon), Tenma can leap back through time. How far back he can gois determined by how much chakra he's willing to put in. He can't go to the future.
Explosion Release and Shikigami no Mai: A fusion technique where he uses paper and infuses it with volatile explosive chakra. Unlike Deidara’s clay, Tenma’s paper is faster and can swarm an opponent in massive, razor-sharp clouds.
Ame-no-Ohabari: A manifested Susanoo blade that he wields in close quarters. It shares the gravity-altering properties of his Perfect Susanoo, making the sword feel "heavier" or "lighter" to the opponent upon impact to break their guard.

Tenma was born in one of the Akatuski hideouts in Amegakure and was quite premature so it's honestly a miracle he survived with all the completely unsanitary conditions, Itachi’s condition, and well everything. Either way, Itachi had no idea what he's doing, Pain got alerted and didn't know what to do about this either, Zetsu told him to let the baby live cause it would be a nice weapon in the future as Itachi's son, Konan the only one who stayed composed and was trying to properly help Itachi with what they have at the base at the moment. The baby was named Tenma by Itachi’s decision after the teammate whose death originally awakened Itachi’s sharingan, while sentimental, they just went along with it. Tenma himself was fairly calm as long as he was in someone’s arms. While his development was slow at first, he really started growing after learning to walk and getting more socializing. Itachi started teaching him pretty early on so Tenma would never be defenseless, with the boy making his first fireball at 3 years old. Around the same time was when he started learning from Kisame and Konan, getting frustrated by how much precision paper is needed, how he's not strong enough for kenjutsu, or how hard water release is, but always coming back to continue. Deidara discovered the child by accident but Tenma decided he's his brother now and Deidara just liked having an audience (Tenma also became fascinated with explosions). Also Sasori started teaching him puppetry to outdo Deidara.
Tenma, having slightly coped with losing so many people so fast, spent time training even harder, bonding closer with Kisame as his sensei, when the universe decided to throw another curve ball by killing off Kisame! Leading to Tenma awakening his Mangekyo at 8 years old cause he was actually there when Kisame was captured but just a bit too late, and Konan getting him the fuck away from the scene before Tenma could do anything impulsive. She eventually implanted Itachi’s eyes into Tenma’s as Itachi’s last wish to help Tenma awaken his Eternal Mangekyo so Tenma would never go through the same pain his father did. Konan of course took care of him while he was blind and recovering, with Tenma’s vision eventually returning. With most of the Akatsuki now dead, all his family gone, Sasuske daring to be around after ruining Tenma’s life. And in terms of Sasuke, after learning the truth about Itachi and the fact that his brother apparently has a whole son, he tried to reconcile with Tenma, so for the first time Sasuske got to feel how Itachi felt. Sasuske cares deeply about Tenma of course but he has no idea how to approach him. Before Konan went off to fight Obito, Sauske asked her to seal Tenma away to keep him safe during the upcoming war because Sasuke did not want Tenma, as Itachi’s son and the Uchiha heir, to die.
(technically he'd be an adult timeline wise but stilla kid) Tenma was unsealed around 15 years later (when the Boruto gen were around 11-13), his scroll being lost for over a decade during the chaos of the Fourth War and Sauske tracking it down. Tenma was awakened in the Hokage Tower, the stasis was perfect so he barely lost any power, immediately nuking the place up with premade infused clay sculptures and skiddaddling after a poor attempt of attacking Sasuke (because Tenma is still a disoriented 10 year old). Running off out of the village he eventually gathered information to catch up on the 15 years he lost and on stuff like the Fourth War, temporarily travelling while in hiding, and taking on some contracts for money and to keep up his skill. He got picked up by Kara when he was 11 (about a year after he was unsealed), they were fascinated with his origins, potential, and skills, seeing him as a viable vessel considering what he’s survived.
Meanwhile Tenma saw them as an opportunity to gain power, protection, and knowledge of this modern world. Once he joined, his ass got brothered by Daemon, something Tenma was untrusting towards at first, but recognizing his power and since Daemon seemed to know quite a lot about how stuff works around here (they actually grow really close pretty quickly since he and Daemon are both quite chaotic), Tenma stuck around the dude. Kara were also the ones who helped him do the whole appearance switch up, changing his style, seeing benefit in Tenma’s intention of not being recognized by Sasuke. So yeah, Tenma continued training, eventually receiving the tattoo and being infused with Shibai Ōtsutsuki dna when he was 13 and proved to be ‘loyal’ and a viable vessel after a few modifications, having survived worse. Also over that time he did interact with Sarada a few times, considering Sarada being around Ada and Tenma usually being near Ada too (cause Daemon is also always near Ada), but he does respect her power and cause Sarada is nothing like Sasuke which is cool (Sarada was mostly curious because she didn't even know she had a cousin). About a year or so after a lot of testing, Tenma unlocked his Shinjutsu.
Daemon was Tenma's first ever friend who was actually his age. Daemon was the one who dragged and showed Tenma aroud in the Kara base and the duo caused a lot of chaos around there. Tok them a few months to really grow close cuase of how weary Tenma was at first but now Tenma cares a lot.

Technically not an official Akatsuki member but has been secretly on a few missions for training purposes. As a child he didn't like wearing shinobi sandals because he didn't like how his toes were exposed and that carried over as he grew. Tenma's always weighted down with a chronic weird heavy heart feeling with everything he lost cause he doesn't really know how to cope, but only keeps going thanks to his mantra of "Being brave for papa like Kisame-sensei is” which eventually he abandoned realizing it doesn't matter. He knows damn well how talented and privileged he is to be the son of Itahci Uchiha and raised by Akatuski so he holds onto that with a death grip and spends days and nights training to hone it and not let that talent go to waste, even when his dad said to stop, which is how he's so powerful. He despises konoha because technically the village resulted in every death pf his family (Sasori was killed partially by Sakura who’s with konoha, Deidara and Itachi were killed by Sasuke who used to be a konoha shinobi, Konoha fucked Itachi over in the first place, Konoha lead Kisame to kill himself, Naruto killed Pain, and Obito, who also was once a konoha shinobi, killed Konan). After joining Kara he was given a tattoo of roman number 10 (X) on his right cheek under his eye. His look post unsealing is very sentimental; the haircut and eyeliner is meant to be a callback to Deidara’s style, the blue undertones are the same colour as Kisame’s hair was, the teal nail polish is the same shade as the one Sasori wore, and the cloak is of course Itachi’s.
