Renge

Renge was born as a result of Orochimaru wanting to compare and contrast the results of a biological offspring versus a clone of himself. He bribed a prisoner of his into being a surrogate to the child in exchange for her freedom, and thus, Renge was born.

After she came to be, he was very hands-off in her upbringing, not wanting to influence her by letting her know that he was her parent. Instead, she was told she was found abandoned and taken in as an infant.

Over time, he considered her more or less a “failure” in that she was less powerful than Yasumi in all but, but kept artificially trying to augment her strength in an attempt to keep her useful. She did not get along well with others, often getting aggressive, due in part to the many treatments she was subject to.

Has encounters with Ninge and Zera at some point during the time of Part I. Later on, she is meant to train with Sayato Yasuda alongside Yuno Kamiya and Sasuke Uchiha, but that doesn't stick too long. During Part II, Renge notices how close Kabuto and Sayato are getting, but doesn’t say anything because she’s not a snitch. She does think it’s funny though.

She’s gotten a little close with Suigetsu, gaining a bit of a crush on him and begin going out, but their time together doesn't last long because she ends up finding out her actual origins and lashes out severely, ending up being imprisoned after her outburst. She remains in prison, miserable until Sasuke defeats Orochimaru and frees all those imprisoned in Orochimaru’s various lairs. Sasuke asks her if she wants to join up with him, Suigetsu, Jugo, and Karin but ultimately refuses the offer, both in part due to being pissed that Sasuke beat her to the punch in killing the snake, and frankly just not wanting to be around him and Karin. Ultimately, this is the catalyst for Renge and Suigetsu's breakup.

With that, she takes off into the unknown, fending for herself for a good while. Survival on her own is rough, and eventually she’s countered by a group of vicious bandits who leave her in pretty bad condition. Luckily for her, Team Asuma was in the area and found her, with Ino treating any immediate issues and rushing back to Konoha to get her assessed further.

Over time, Renge began getting a crush on Ino, and trying her best to start behaving in a less “feral” manner and be seen as a somewhat respectable person in the blonde’s eyes. She also found herself getting on well with Choji, the two bonding over a mutual love for food. Shikamaru was the hardest member for her to get on with, with him obviously being skeptical of Renge, which was only compounded more when she did reveal that she was Orochimaru’s daughter.

Despite the distrust she was faced with, she divulged everything she knew to interrogation forces, although with Orochimaru dead and many others missing and lairs abandoned and raided and such, there wasn’t much to be done with the info. After lots of investigation, she was ultimately deemed trustworthy enough to not be an issue for Konoha to have to worry about.
During the war, Renge didn’t want to get involved in the mess, especially after hearing Kabuto and Sayato’s involvement in things. No need to be sucked into toxic situationship dramas, figuring she could help the forces at home in Konoha should things get bad enough to reach the village.

After the war, she gets with Ino, she asks Ino to help Sayato out with his case and ultimately ends up getting Sayato’s punishment lessened as a result of Ino’s assistance. She clashes with Sakura frequently. She ends up reconnecting with Yasumi, with him being her one real “familial” bond, and still detests Orochimaru with her whole heart.
